Ed Olesky

I started my career in market research while in college in the early 80’s. I worked as a part-time interviewer, coder, sampler, data processor and programmer. By the time I graduated with a degree in psychology, I was completely hooked on technology.

When I helped found TRC over 30 years ago I brought both my technology and psychology perspectives with me. I believe that has paid dividends for our clients. My psychology background helps me understand the human element when it comes to both research and the application of technology. My years of experience in all aspects of the research process help me see where the latest technology can be applied to drive more effective research. Most important, I pride myself on bridging the divide between IT and end users. I can explain the needs and requirements to both sides in language that they understand.

30 years later and my passion for technology has not diminished. Cloud-based computing and services, modern day languages, data lakes, business intelligence, artificial intelligence and security. It just doesn’t get any better than this.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 kids. I enjoy music and staying current with the latest technology. I spend too much time in front of my computers and too many gadgets in my home. I especially enjoy winter ski vacations (“Ski the East”).
